Astronoid
Astronoid
Astronoid is a five-piece band from Boston, MA with influences ranging from Devin Townsend and Mew to Alcest and Cynic. Their first full length album, being released by Blood Music in 2016, is part of an evolving experience that complements their two acclaimed EP’s from 2012-13, "Stargazer" and "November". The driving rhythms, subtle time signatures and soaring vocal harmonies combine to create an auditory cloud to lift you into the ether. There’s always something new to discover hidden within the dense layers of thrashy guitar riffs and euphoric vocals. Lyrically, the record conveys a disillusioned and hopeful view of the world as a whole.
Infinity Shred
Infinity Shred
"Where hip-hop meets post-rock," these "casual shredders" have been serving up their self-proclaimed "cocktail metal" since 2012. More "sad EDM" than "synth pop," their visuals draw you in with a "Carl Sagan meets Barrier Kult" aesthetic soundtracked by "technical drumming," "synth shredding" and "aggressive guitars.

"Glacier is made up of five guys who like playing loud, sad songs together. We started working together in the summer of 2012.

We released our first record 'Concave', in May 2013. It was recorded in the middle of the night, in a freezing church basement by ourselves and some friends. The record is available through the webstore of Massachusetts' based label Deathwish Inc. (www.deathwishinc.com) as well as through Newbury Comics in the New England area.

'Kirtland' and 'Black Beacon' were released together in 2014. The songs are longer, darker, and sadder and are the clearest representation of what we've always wanted to do. The records are available digitally through iTunes, Spotify and Amazon MP3 among others. Physical copies are available at Newbury Comics and Bullmoose Music in New England."
