The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring debuted a little more than 21 years ago, and the film and its epic soundtrack, the Academy Award–winning The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack — composed by Howard Shore and performed by 238 orchestra players, choral members and soloists — still resonate decades later. And on Monday, Maestro Shore triumphantly led 238 musicians through the score live in concert, the first of four nights at Radio City Music Hall.
