One of the defining acts of the NYC rock revival at the turn of the millennium, Yeah Yeah Yeahs just put out their fifth studio LP (and first in nine years), Cool It Down, on Friday and then celebrated its release on Saturday night with a triumphant headlining set at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. And although they’re no longer all based here, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will always be a New York City band.
